In this video if you listen closely you can hear the C-5 Corvette that finishes with a time of 70.490 just before the wagon takes off. The wagon beat it by a full second!
For this event 4 of us from the shop drove to the Super Chevy show with all our stuff, put some more air in the tires and spent two days going around the course that the Las Vegas SCCA set up. We had more than 60 runs around the course and at one point had 6 people jammed in the wagon for a flat out test ride. Once the show was over we let the air pressure back down and drove it home. A true testament that these cars are everything from a daily drive to a flat out race car without any setup adjustments!
